"In Moscow, the number of those discharged consistently exceeds the number of hospitalized and identified patients. And this is a very good dynamic", - said Popovich in an interview with RBC.
The expert noted that, unfortunately, in other regions the situation is different. At the same time, she is not inclined to call the autumn increase in the number of infected people a "second wave".
"There is a feeling that the situation, which has descended to an unobtrusive level of detectability, is suddenly again sharply exponential. There are no formal signs of the onset of a wave, there is just a difference between the past period and the new period", - Popovich pointed out.
Virologist Anatoly Altstein also noted that although there is some rise in the incidence of coronavirus in the country, this cannot be called a second wave, because the first has not yet ended.
In Russia, despite the denial of the second wave, I again propose to introduce restrictions. Before that, the media reported on the plans of the Moscow authorities to reintroduce quarantine for elderly citizens.
