"Teachers over 65 years old or with a number of chronic diseases, if possible, will be transferred to remote work. After the holidays, they will be able to be tutors for young teachers - graduates and senior students of pedagogical universities, who will be invited to Moscow schools to conduct face-to-face classes for children", - Izvestia cites a message from the Moscow Department of Education.
The department believes that in this way it will be possible not to interrupt the educational process and at the same time to protect people from the risk group.
Earlier, the capital's authorities recommended transferring half of the office employees to remote work - this is about two million people. Prior to that, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin signed a decree, according to which from October 5, each metropolitan company will have to transfer 30% of its employees to the remote mode of working. The measure will be mandatory for employees over 65 years old.
