Rostekhnadzor (Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision), in its investigation of the May accident at the CHPP-3 in Norilsk, has decided on the main versions, but it is too early to talk about the results, said the head of the Yenisei department of the department Andrey Khodosevich.

"During the investigation, the following versions are considered: first, design flaws that caused an incorrect distribution of the load on the pile foundation; the second is a violation during the execution of construction and installation works, which led to poor-quality performance of the pile foundation; the third is the climatic impact and the fourth is the violation of safety rules during the operation of the facility", - RIA Novosti quotes Khodosevich as saying.

Currently, a visiting meeting of the Federation Council is taking place in Krasnoyarsk. There Khodosevich noted that although it is too early to talk about the results of the investigation, "taking into account what happened, Rostechnadzor has taken additional measures to prevent such accidents".

In physical terms, the damage amounted to 8,907 tons, in monetary terms, taking into account the cost of fish - 3.615 billion rubles", - said the head of the Yenisei Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fisheries Andrey Golonopulos.
