If it is impossible to introduce total quarantine in Moscow, "point solutions" are nevertheless possible, said the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.

Sobyanin called "extreme measures" "absolutely unacceptable and impossible" for Moscow: the imposition of a curfew, a complete ban on movement around the city, a ban on entry and exit, and the closure of "almost all enterprises".

“The optimal strategy is to find a middle way between closing the city and completely abandoning restrictive measures”, - Sobyanin wrote in his blog.

The mayor of the capital drew attention to the fact that the past week showed the first signs of control over the situation in the city, and noted that currently fewer citizens use public transport, and there is also a mask regime, therefore social contacts are decreasing.

- I do not see the need to take more stringent measures, although individual point decisions cannot be ruled out, - stressed the mayor.

At the same time, from October 19, Moscow officials will check employees, having switched to remote control.

Earlier, Sobyanin indicated that due to the pandemic, fewer migrants have become in Moscow. Their number in the Russian capital has dropped significantly, according to the mayor, to 40%. He also promised that in this regard, there will be no problems with cleaning the streets.
