The police in the Austrian capital reported a terrorist attack simultaneously in six locations in the city. The shooting began with shots at the synagogue in Seitenstättengasse. In total, about 50 shots were fired. The police shot one of the suspects. Several hijackers managed to escape. The police believe that seven were involved in the execution of the attack.
