The Council of Ministers of France supported the draft law "On strengthening republican principles". The bill is aimed, among other things, at combating radical Islamism, said Prime Minister Jean Casteks.

Kasteks drew attention to the fact that the document is not directed against specific religions. However, according to him, the issue of radial Islamism is currently very acute.

"With this important text, we want to give you a means of defense against the ideological and political associations that attack our values, sovereignty and sometimes reach the criminal offenses", - transmits the words of Prime Minister Le Monde.

The provisions of the law say that the French government will fight unregistered educational institutions in which the ideas of radical Islam can be promoted.

Moreover, a mandatory oath of religious neutrality will be introduced for a civil servant.

In addition, the law implies punishment for health care providers who issue certificates of virginity. Visas will be deprived of those who are caught in polygamy. They will be sent home.

The document will clarify that the disclosure of personal information about people on social networks, which led to the organization of an attack on them, will be equated to a crime.

The bill was developed after a Parisian teacher was beheaded by a native of Chechnya in October. After a loud tragedy, more than 200 Chechens were deported from France. French police have already opened about 80 criminal cases for inciting hatred on the Internet.

French President Emmanuel Macron has delivered an ultimatum to the Muslim community of the country: to submit to the values of the Republic in their faith. He met with representatives of the Council of Muslim Faith in France, which includes nine Muslim associations, and gave them two weeks to adopt a "charter of republican values".

Macron also announced a plan to combat "Islamic separatism", which provides for compulsory secular education for children of migrants, state control over religious organizations and a ban on foreign imams from preaching.
