In the water area of the port of Nakhodka, Primorsky Territory, an oily waste spill occurred, presumably dumped from a foreign vessel. The specialist started to eliminate pollution in the bay.

The port has two rows of booms of 150 meters each. Experts point out that no oil spills were recorded behind the fences.

According to Interfax, the spill occurred near the quay wall of Attis Enterprise LLC.

"Bilge water or other oily liquids were discharged from a foreign merchant ship", - the agency quotes the message of the Nakhodka mayor's office.

According to the press service of the city administration, more than a thousand liters of oil has already been collected. At the moment, the area of contamination is not specified.

Let us recall that at the beginning of the month, oil products leaked into the Black Sea during the scrapping of the "Kerch" warship near Sevastopol". The most notorious recent case was the leak of about 20 thousand tons of oil at the Norilsk TPP. This happened as a result of the depressurization of the tank. Then the Rosprirodnadzor estimated the damage caused to the environment at 148 billion rubles.
