In his blog, the mayor of the capital stated that the situation around the coronavirus in Moscow makes him "cautiously optimistic".
The mayor is now ready to abolish the college campus and allow children's entertainment centers to operate normally. In addition, Sobyanin will also open cultural institutions.
Now colleges, as well as institutions of additional education, sports schools and children's leisure centers will return to normal work. Transport cards are unlocked for students.
Cinemas will be able to work subject to the maximum number of visitors in half the capacity of the hall, and not 25%, as it was until the last day.
Entertainment rooms and centers for children in the mall, as well as day camps, will also open, but the number of their visitors should not exceed half of the total possible capacity.
Museums and libraries, like other cultural institutions, will also be able to open, but also with a 50% occupancy rate.
At the same time, the distance will remain for university students until February 6. Also, the requirement to transfer at least 30% of employees to remote work will not change. Restrictions on the work of catering establishments, nightclubs, etc. will last, and the regime of self-isolation for elderly Muscovites will remain. But for those pensioners6 who have been vaccinated, transport cards will be restored.
The absolute maximum in terms of the number of new detected infections with coronavirus in the capital for the entire time of the epidemic was recorded on December 24 last, 2020 - 8203 people per day. Since then, the average number of new infections detected per day has dropped by about 40%, but since January 14, it has begun to rise again.
