Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin from January 27 canceled the previously introduced requirement for capital enterprises to transfer at least 30% of employees to remote work. The ban on night work of catering establishments is also lifted from today.

In his blog, Sergey Sobyanin indicated that today the situation with coronavirus infection in the city is improving.

He pointed out to entrepreneurs that the provision on the transfer of almost a third of employees remains, but only as a recommendation.

Catering and recreation and entertainment organizations, including discos, bowling alleys and karaoke bars, will now be able to work again from 23:00 to 6:00 in the morning. The mayor recalled that all organizations will have to comply with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor on the seating of visitors and compliance with the sanitary regime.

In addition, Sobyanin promised to make a decision by February 6 on how the capital's universities will work. And the removal of other restrictions will be announced separately, the mayor said.

As for the epidemiological situation, Sobyanin emphasized that last week, doctors made less than 3,000 new diagnoses of COVID-19, and the number of hospitalized people decreased by another thousand people. For the first time since mid-June, more than half of the beds in the city's medical institutions specializing in the treatment of covid-infected people were free.

“The pandemic is on the decline, and in these conditions it is our duty to create conditions for the fastest possible economic recovery, first of all, for the most affected sectors of the consumer market”, - Sergey Sobyanin said.

He recalled that the fight against the virus is not over yet, and the likelihood of infection remains, therefore, it is necessary to "be careful".

"Nevertheless, I sincerely congratulate you, friends, on our common victory and one more step towards the return of normal life in the beautiful city of Moscow", - concluded the mayor of the capital.

It's worth reminding that today the Moscow authorities curled their readiness to organize a free vaccination against coronavirus infection for all taxi drivers and couriers, regardless of whether they have MHI policy.
