In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, heavy snowfall led to ten avalanches

According to the regional agency for civil defense and emergency situations, over the past day in the Kuraga region of the region, snow masses have descended ten times from the mountains. In total, about 3 thousand cubic meters of snow fell in avalanches. As a result, the federal highway R-257 "Yenisei" was filled up. It had to be blocked in order to clear the snow blockages.

According to the department, there is no victim of the disaster.

In the regional center, 8-point traffic jams were noted. According to the Department of Municipal Economy, the Krasnoyarsk administration indicated that over 150 units of special equipment worked in the city during the night. As a result, 723 KamAZ trucks of snow were removed from the roads of Krasnoyarsk.

According to the representative of the department, it is snowing now. However, the equipment had to be removed from the city roads at 6 o'clock in the morning in order to pass the main stream of cars. At 10 o'clock, cleaning was resumed again.
