The ZaTelecom Telegram channel publishes information about the shutdown of CCTV cameras, which are supposed to record violations, in different regions of Russia.

For example, in the Chelyabinsk region, access to free video surveillance systems will be limited on January 31 from 10:00 to 18:00 - "in order to ensure public order".

In Simferopol, the camera was turned off overlooking the central square. A site with video surveillance cameras stopped working in Lipetsk. In Ufa, some cameras from the maps.ufanet.ru service also disappeared. In Astrakhan, they removed the ability to select cameras and turned off those in the city center from the general view.

“In fact, cameras are turned off all over the country. This, incidentally, contradicts their purpose - to record offenses", - says the Telegram-channel "ZaTelekom".
