Two Molotov cocktails were thrown by an unknown person at the door of the government building of the Murmansk region on the night of October 1. One person was injured.

The detention of 33 Russian mercenaries, whom some media outlets called fighters of "PMC Wagner", was planned by the special services of Ukraine and funded by the United States, CNN reports, citing sources.

Moscow's Preobrazhensky Court sentenced Pussy Riot member and municipal deputy Lusya Stein to one year of restriction of freedom in the so-called "sanitary case" initiated after the January protests.

Police detained another journalist who worked at a protest in support of the arrested opposition leader Alexey Navalny on April 21. Among the detainees are Komsomolskaya Pravda journalist Aleksandr Rogoza and Dozhd journalist Aleksey Korostelev.
