In 23 Russian cities, 115 people were detained during the week after the rally in support of opposition leader Alexei Navalny on April 21, while law enforcement officers came to the home of at least five media representatives.

According to OVD-Info, most of those detained during this period were in Moscow - 58 people. In Nizhny Novgorod, 11 people were detained, in Perm and Khabarovsk - ten each, three people - in Voronezh. Two were detained in Vladivostok, Vologda and Yekaterinburg. In addition, one person was detained in 15 cities.

According to the Moscow courts, 183 cases were opened under the article on violation of the rules for participation in actions.

"The detainees are accused of participating in an uncoordinated action, referring to data from CCTV cameras, or organizing an uncoordinated event by posting or reposting on social networks before the action on April 21. Many have already been fined or arrested", - the human rights activists specified.

It should be reminded that just over the past day, three journalists who worked at the rally on April 21 in Moscow were detained. Among them are Komsomolskaya Pravda journalist Alexander Rogoza and Dozhd journalist Alexey Korostelev. Echo of Moscow correspondent Oleg Ovcharenko was summoned for interrogation.
