"Calls for drawing up protocols on administrative offenses under Art. 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation were sent to representatives of social networks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, as well as YouTube video hosting and Telegram messenger", - RIA Novosti reports, citing Roskomnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications).
The department indicated that, according to the Administrative Code, legal entities will have to pay a fine of 800 thousand to 4 million rubles for violating the procedure for restricting access to prohibited information by the owner of the site. If the violation is committed again, the amount will increase to 10% of the total amount of revenue for the year.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the fact of attracting minors to participate in protests in support of the arrested Alexey Navalny.
