Vladimir Ryzhkov was taken to the Khamovniki police station. He is charged with organizing the rally.

It is reported by Ekho Moskvy radiostation.

The opposition politician is charged with an offense under the article on violation of the procedure for organizing a rally.

He is in the Khamovniki police station, from where he got in touch with "Dozhd". He said that the district major Frolov came to him in the morning, did not show anything and asked for an explanation from the police department that he had not posted calls for the rally in support of Alexei Navalny, which is taking place on April 21. The policeman, Ryzhkov said, pointed to his April 18 retweet of the news from the Ekho Moskvy website that Navalny's supporters were planning a protest. Ryzhkov is charged with an article on "violation of the order of the rally." He noted that neither in the news, nor in his retweet, there are no calls to participate in the rally. Nevertheless, a protocol is drawn up against him. Ryzhkov said that this is a strange, illegal situation.

We will remind that today, April 21, in Russian cities there are massive uncoordinated rallies in support of the opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

Eight participants of such a rally were detained in Magadan.

It's worth reminding that the former State Duma deputy from the Altai Territory Vladimir Ryzhkov previously announced his plans to run for the Moscow City Duma from the Yabloko party in the Gagarin district.
