This was reported by RIA Novosti, referring to a study by the analytical center "Synergy".
Thus, about 69.5% of Russians have already spent the amount in full, 19.4% have spent it in part, and 4.3% of the survey participants admitted that they do not remember how they disposed of the money. 76.2% of respondents who have already used the money spent it on children: 49.2% - on clothes and shoes at school, 32.1% - on stationery, 12% - on electronics necessary for students, and 6.7% - for children's entertainment.
23.8% directed funds for other purposes. 40.8% of them bought food with this money, 25.9% paid for housing and communal services, 15% bought clothes and shoes for adults, 12% spent on recreation, 6.3% paid off debts and loan payments.
Sociologists note that 74.7% hope to receive some more help from the state in the near future. 68.2% believe that 10 thousand rubles is too little to support families with children. 92.1% of parents are sure that such payments should be made every year before September 1.
It's worth to note that a one-time cash payment of 10 thousand rubles at the beginning of August 2021 covers almost half of the average budget for preparing a student for the school year. This year, the cost of preparing a first-grader by September 1 will average 21.2-24.3 thousand rubles, that is, about 37-42% of the parent's official monthly monetary income (if we consider the average monthly nominal accrued wages in the Russian economy as a whole).
