After a night storm, the mountains of the Sakhalin spisula remained on the coast of the Kuril island of Kunashir. Local residents literally staged a "hunt" for delicious shellfish.
According to the TV channel "360", Sakhalin residents brag about their catch on social networks. The footage shows how the locals are picking up full buckets of spisula.
The Sakhalin spisula lives in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan. Shellfish is a delicacy and is eaten approximately like mussels - boiled with spices.
