Sobyanin: Lockdown in Moscow will not be extended

It's worth reminding that some regions have already decided to extend the lockdowns.

"In Moscow... the dynamics of the disease has stabilized, this applies to both the detection and hospitalization of a severe form. This allows us to conclude that non-working days will not be extended from Monday", - Interfax quotes Sergey Sobyanin.

Nevertheless, as the mayor noted, from November 8, some sanitary restrictions will remain: home regime for the elderly, transfer to remote work of 30% of the staff of companies. Visiting museums and theaters will also be possible only by QR codes.

Lockdown in Moscow has been announced for the period from October 28 to November 7.

Throughout Russia, from October 30 to November 7, "non-working days" have been declared. During lockdown in many regions the work of catering and entertainment establishments is prohibited, many 24-hour establishments have canceled the night mode of operation, in a number of regions non-food stores and alcohol markets are closed.

Regional authorities have the right to introduce additional restrictions.
