Russia withdraws from the Council of Europe

This is stated in the statement Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Russia will not participate in the transformation by NATO and the EU obediently following them of the oldest European organization into another platform for incantations about Western superiority and narcissism. Let them enjoy communicating with each other, without Russia", - the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

It's worth reminding that earlier all the delegations of the EU member states defiantly left the meeting room of the OPCW Executive Council when the speech of the Russian side began. In addition, earlier Ukraine called to deprive Russia's voting rights in the UN Security Council and suspend Russia's membership in Interpol.
