Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced a "covid amnesty" in the capital. All residents of the capital, as well as entrepreneurs who were fined during the coronavirus period for violating the restrictions imposed, will receive a refund for paid fines.

From June 1, they will also stop collecting money for fines that have not yet been paid.

In total, during the period of restrictions, Muscovites were fined 13.6 billion rubles, according to message .

As the mayor of the city emphasized, coronavirus restrictions have been lifted in the capital for several months. "Today we face other challenges and problems. We see a drop in real incomes of citizens", - the mayor of the city explained the decision in telegram.

In order to receive compensation, you need to contact the "My Documents" centers before the end of the year. You must have a decision on the imposition of a fine and a document confirming its payment.
