Sberbank raised mortgage rates on housing in the primary and secondary markets by 0.5 percentage points. Since January 10, in both segments, the minimum rate has increased to 10.9% per annum, whereas previously it was 10.4%. The bank explained the innovation with "current market conditions".

The rates for programs with state support have not changed, RBC clarifies. According to these programs, the rates are at least 7.3% per annum for the construction of a house and from 7.7% for the purchase of housing in a new building. The conditions for obtaining a mortgage loan are also being tightened by other credit organizations.

Officially, preferential mortgages increased from 7% to 8%, but the increase in rates affected other banking products.
