Roskomnadzor has drawn up a protocol against the publishing house on the article on discrediting the Russian army. Under this article, a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles is threatened. According to TASS, the protocol was drawn up under the article of the Administrative Code on public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation.
On Wednesday, at 10 a.m., a meeting of the Tagansky District Court will be held in Moscow. At the same time, it is not specified what was the reason for drawing up the protocol. Recall that on March 28, the Moscow editorial office of Novaya Gazeta suspended publication after it received a second warning from the RCN.
The publication did not comply with the requirements for labeling foreign agents. In September, the Supreme Court granted the agency's claim to revoke the license of the electronic version of the newspaper Novaya Gazeta. Before that, the Basmanny Court of Moscow also revoked the license for the printed version of the publication. For fakes about the Russian army, Novaya Gazeta has already been fined - by 00 thousand rubles in June and 350 thousand rubles in August. In November last year, the RCN blocked the website of Novaya Gazeta.
In addition, access to the project of the collective of the publication "Free Space" was closed.
