"The Talmud says that the one who saved the life of one person supposedly saved the whole world, and I repeat: as a Jewish community, not only in Russia, but all over the world, we are ready to do everything to find some peaceful solutions", - he said.
His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.He added that the Jewish community wants all people to live in brotherhood, mutual understanding, friendship and respect.
The Chief Rabbi of Russia thanked the Russian president for the fact that Jews feel comfortable in this country.
"Perhaps our people are particularly well aware of what suffering is, so we are ready to do everything so that there is peace in the world", - he concluded.
