A court in Moscow sentenced the former head of state Sergiy (Nikolai Romanov) to seven years in prison under the article on incitement to hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity. His assistant Vsevolod Moguchev was sentenced to five years in prison.

As the court found, the schemer and his assistant posted videos online with appeals against Jews and Muslims. The state prosecution requested seven years of imprisonment for him, but the court sentenced him to 5.5 years in a penal colony. By adding up the term in the previous sentence, the term of serving the sentence was increased to seven years. It's worth reminding that in 2021, Sergius was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for violating the right to freedom of religion.

Schema-master Sergiy became famous after his words about the "pseudo-pandemic". He called the coronavirus a "myth" created for the purpose of "chipping" the population. Earlier, he seized the Sredneuralsky convent and declared that he would not leave it. At the same time, it became known that Sergius called for at least 10 nuns to commit suicide. The former schema monk was previously banned from continuing his sermons. He was defrocked and excommunicated from the church.
