Representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church expressed concern about the methods that will be used in the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine in determining the preservation of the relics of saints in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.

The press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation around the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. He expressed deep regret that this situation has not been properly condemned by the international community.

The Patriarchal Commission on Family Issues, Protection of Motherhood and Childhood proposes to introduce a requirement according to which doctors will refuse to perform abortions to a pregnant woman if her spouse has not consented to an abortion.
