Rostec has signed contracts for the production of 71 passenger aircraft: Tu-214, MS-21 and SSJ New. 63 airliners are planned to be delivered to Aeroflot by the end of 2025. Eight more SSJ New aircraft are going to be manufactured and delivered to Aurora Airlines by 2026.

"As part of the contracts in 2023-2025, Aeroflot will receive 63 airliners, including 18 MS-21 aircraft, 34 SSJ New aircraft and 11 Tu-214 aircraft manufactured by Rostec United Aircraft Corporation. 86 Mi-8AMT/Mi-8MTV-1 rotorcraft will be delivered to 17 Russian airlines within the same time frame. In turn, the Far Eastern air carrier Aurora will receive 8 SSJ New units in 2024-2026, as well as 10 Mi-171A2 helicopters and 11 Mi-171A3 helicopters", - the Rostec press service reported.

The State Corporation plans to manufacture and supply aircraft and helicopters under the preferential leasing program with co-financing from the National Welfare Fund at a rate of 1.5% per annum.

Aircraft production will be carried out by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and Russian Helicopters — both organizations are part of Rostec. According to the head of the state corporation Sergey Chemezov, the signed contracts will allow "to deploy full-scale production of the necessary machines." Preparatory activities at the enterprises of UAC, Russian Helicopters and other companies have already been launched. Prior to that, the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin announced the allocation of more than 237 billion rubles for the development of projects in the field of aircraft construction, and over the next two years an additional 37 billion rubles will be allocated for this. The Head of government clarified that the funds will be provided on a refundable basis by purchasing bonds of Russian leasing companies.
