The Defense Ministry reported on the return of over 100 Russian servicemen from captivity

Ukraine has not yet confirmed the exchange of prisoners of war.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not specify how many Ukrainian soldiers were exchanged for Russian prisoners of war.

Now medical and psychological assistance is being provided to all those released, the defense ministry noted. They will be sent to Moscow for rehabilitation. The ministry stressed that the fighters were in mortal danger in Ukraine.

Recall that on the eve of the Ukrainian authorities announced the transfer of 61 bodies of dead Ukrainian soldiers to the country. In total, since the beginning of the special operation, 888 bodies of dead servicemen have already been transferred to Ukraine.

In early December, the parties conducted several exchanges of prisoners of war according to the formula 50x50 and 60x60.
