A quarter of respondents (26%) believe that prices have been rising in the same way as before, and 5% of respondents said that the trend of rising prices of goods has slowed down. Another 8% of the participants in the FOM survey did not notice any changes.
At the same time, 44% of Russians believe that prices will rise at the same level next month. 26% of respondents believe that price growth will accelerate, 7% expect a slowdown, and 9% assume that prices will remain at the current level. 2% of respondents also expect lower prices.
According to the survey results, over the past month, Russians most often noted an increase in the price of meat and poultry (35%), milk and dairy products (32%), fish and seafood (29%) and fruit and vegetable products (29%). Among non-food products, citizens most often reported an increase in the price of medicines and medicines (33%), clothing and shoes (21%). In the "Services" category, respondents most often pointed to an increase in prices for housing and communal services, as stated by 41% of respondents.
The survey was conducted on February 17-19 in 104 localities in 53 subjects. 1,500 respondents took part in it.
