The Polish Prime Minister congratulated the country on joining the North Atlantic Alliance.

On April 4, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on his social network page that Finland had officially become a member of NATO. A statement on behalf of the block is expected later.

"From now on, there are 31 countries in the alliance. Strong partners are a guarantee of the security of Poland, the region and the whole world", - Morawiecki wrote.

On March 31, the Turkish Parliament ratified Finland's accession to NATO. Turkey and Hungary were the last of the 30 NATO member countries to delay the approval of the Finnish application. Earlier this month, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan indicated that Finland would receive Ankara's approval, as it took measures to fulfill promises to counter groups that the Turkish side considers terrorist and lift restrictions on the export of defense goods.
