«I strongly ask residents of settlements not to travel to the m-4 Don! Now, due to traffic restrictions on several sections of the federal highway, namely in the area of Bataysk, Shakhty, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Millerovo, a large number of vehicles have accumulated. Many kilometers of traffic jams were formed. I instructed the regional rescue services and the units of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with the municipal administrations, to organize the delivery of everything necessary to people stuck in traffic jams», — Golubev said.

Novye Izvestia reported that huge traffic jams had formed on the federal highway that connects Moscow with the south (Moscow-Voronezh-Rostov-Krasnodar).

Earlier, the head of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, in his tg channel, asked the population not to use highways. On the night of June 24, Gusev wrote that a column of military equipment was moving along the federal highway.
