Armed mutiny of the Wagner PMCs

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the founder of the Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin in the Kremlin. According to the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov (pictured), the meeting took place on June 29 and lasted almost three hours.

French media, citing Western intelligence data, reported that shortly after the armed mutiny of the Wagner PMCs, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the head of the PMCs, Yevgeny Prigozhin (pictured).

As of the morning of June 26, the criminal case on the organization of an armed rebellion under Article 279 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against the head of the Wagner Private security Company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, had not been terminated. The investigation is continued by the investigators of the office of criminal investigations of FSB of Russia.

The National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) announced the cancellation of the counter-terrorism operation mode in Moscow and the Moscow Region. All relevant restrictions have also been lifted.
