French media, citing Western intelligence data, reported that shortly after the armed mutiny of the Wagner PMCs, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the head of the PMCs, Yevgeny Prigozhin (pictured).

This is written by one of the largest French newspapers — Libération.

According to the publication, PMCs «Wagner» was summoned to the Kremlin, where he met with Putin. Prigozhin arrived in Moscow on July 1 to talk with the head of state.

It is indicated that the PMC commanders were also present at the meetings with Putin.

Along with the meeting with the head of state, Prigozhin held talks with the director of the Rosgvardiya Viktor Zolotov and the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin, Libération notes, without giving details of the meetings.

Earlier about the probable finding of Prigozhin in President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko told reporters in St. Petersburg or Moscow.

Prior to that, it was announced that Prigozhin, who began an armed march on Moscow on June 23, did not reach 200 km to the Russian capital. As the military units of the Wagner PMCs rapidly advanced, the Russian authorities, through the mediation of Lukashenko, negotiated with Prigozhin to stop the march.

Prigozhin agreed to the terms of Lukashenka, who offered him security guarantees if he refused to storm Moscow and took his military units to the rear camps organized on the territory of Belarus.

Lukashenko explained that Putin does not intend to «rub out» Prigozhin.

However, later it became known that Prigozhin did not stay there, and his fighters continue to be in Of Russia. At the same time, the Kremlin said that they did not monitor Prigozhin's movements.
