The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called on the fighters of the Wagner PMCs not to participate in the mutiny

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation appealed to the fighters of the assault detachments of the PMCS «Wagner» with an appeal to show prudence and refuse to participate in the mutiny. The agency stated that they were deceived into the criminal adventure of Yevgeny Prigozhin.

«We appeal to the fighters of the PMC Wagner's assault detachments. You were tricked into Prigozhin's criminal adventure and participation in an armed rebellion», — the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Defense Ministry also announced the appeal for help of many PMCs fighters, who were given the opportunity to return to their permanent locations. The Ministry of Defense promised to ensure the safety of all applicants.

«We guarantee everyone's safety», — the ministry stressed.

To ask for help, PMCs need to contact representatives of the Ministry of Defense or law enforcement agencies.
