State Duma proposed to ban officials from traveling abroad during counter-terrorism operations

According to Vedomosti, so far such a ban applies only to representatives of law enforcement agencies. If necessary, they «urgently enter the service».

However, the representative of the Duma Committee on security and anti-corruption Sultan Khamzayev is convinced that this mode of work should be extended to other representatives of state structures.

Earlier it was reported that on June 24, when, due to the beginning of the campaign of the Wagner PMCs to Moscow, the counter-terrorism regime was introduced in a number of regions of the country, many high-ranking officials began to leave Moscow and the territory of the Russian Federation. This caused the indignation of ordinary citizens of the country.
