Four freight cars derailed at the Golubichnaya station on the Trans-Baikal Railway. Now the incident is being checked, the press service of the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office informed.
The incident occurred on August 2 at about 21:00 local time (15:00 Moscow time) on tracks that are not publicly accessible. Three of the four cars overturned, the prosecutor's office said. Restoration work is already underway at the scene. The reasons for the derailment of cars are being investigated.
Train traffic was not delayed as a result of the incident.
On July 3, we recall, a similar situation happened in Primorsky Krai. The upper structure of the track and the supports of the contact network were damaged there.
