It is noted that she regularly gives interviews to Ukrainian channels, openly wishes Ukraine victory, and in social networks reported that she donated money to the Ukrainian army and urged colleagues to follow her example.

Leah Akhedzhakova was born in 1938 in Dnepropetrovsk. In 1977, she was accepted into the creative team of the Sovremennik Theater. She has also played in films and is known to the Russian audience for roles in Eldar Ryazanov's films, among which "Irony of Fate", "Office Romance", "Garage". Earlier it became known that Akhedzhakova wrote a letter of resignation from the theater on her own after she had no roles left. On April 5, 2023, she ceased to be an actress of Sovremennik.
