“There is no need to say that China is buying up Russia. In fact, the Chinese neglect Russia”, - sinologist Nikolay Vavilov is convinced. On his YouTube channel, he spoke about the facts that dispel the myth that China is carrying out migration and economic expansion in relation to Russia.

Migrants

“The number of Chinese who have moved to live in Russia on a permanent basis over the past 30 years is 30,000 people, but if we compare them with the 100 million Chinese living in the Chinese border territories, we understand that this is not even a percentage, or even about one thousandth - we are talking about three tenths of a ppm.

That is, it is not even some kind of value, not a statistical error, but I would say that this is an extremely unpleasant fact for the Russian Federation. The Chinese not only do not seek to move to Russia, not only do not seek to assimilate it, but also neglect it, and in general, I would say, have a negative attitude towards the issue of moving to Russia and living in Russia.

But, nevertheless, Western propaganda is active. She has been working with this topic for over 100 years.

The myth of the "yellow threat" was still developed by Wilhelm II in order to strengthen the alliance between Russia and Germany, with his relative Nicholas II.

A tenacious myth, despite the fact that the facts say otherwise.

And these facts speak not only about the absence of migration expansion, what kind of expansion is there, it's just some kind of shameful situation for Russia - the Chinese do not want to live in Russia at all, but we are also talking about the absence of any economic expansion.

More recently, the Central Bank of Russia published a report examining foreign direct investment in Russia. China's share in these investments was only - attention - 0.4%.

That is, we are talking about the fact that the Chinese last year invested in Russia less than half a percent of all foreign investments.

Of course, first of all, the EU is investing in Russia. But to say that China is carrying out economic aggression against Russia, investing 0.4% in the Russian economy, buying up its assets, buying up its assets, to put it mildly, also fails.

It is also an extremely low, I would say, unsatisfactory indicator for all our departments, executive authorities, our economy, which shows that China does not invest in Russia at all.

Even if we take into account, take into account the factor of the shadow Chinese economy, the fact that the Chinese do everything with someone else's hands and increase this figure, say, ten, twenty times, then we are still talking about very modest values - 4.8%.

That is, there is no need to say that China is buying up Russia.

China avoids Russia, this is an obvious fact for all specialists within the industry, but for some reason these facts do not reach the level of great state propaganda.

And Western propaganda, taking advantage of various fears that emerged 60 years ago - among Russians of the older generation, is spreading its myths.

To compare how much China has invested in other countries: last year, China invested $ 163 billion worldwide. Russia accounts for an indicator of the order of several hundred million dollars. This is a critically low figure.

China invests ten, twenty times more in the countries of the European Union, in the United States. And if we talk about economic aggression, then these are the United States and Germany - these are the countries where China is carrying out a really planned economic aggression, buying up assets and creating a powerful pro-Chinese lobby in the United States and Germany.

It was with this that Trump's policy was connected and there was even a public statement by Merkel about countering Chinese economic aggression.

Unfortunately, China does not invest practically anything in Russia, and economic aggression remains only on the pages of newspapers, hostile media and people who know little about China".
