The head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) Igor Artemyev (pictured) explained how to cope with the "burden" of self-isolation.

Igor Artemyev said that correctly performed physical exercises will help to improve the “microclimate in families” and get “real relief” and “spiritual joy” during the period of the self-isolation.

- Now, when a month or more people are nearby, sitting in a confined space, huge psychological fatigue is accumulating. How to remove it, than? Movies will help in something, books in something. But when people are in a closed world, they become "heavy." As a neurophysiologist, I’ll say that our nervous system is designed so that it is movements, proper breathing that relieve this stress, remove irritability, and make a person happier. And of course, we thereby fight diseases, improving the immunity that we all need so much today, ”said Artemyev, admitting that he does the exercises twice a day.

Artemyev, who is also the chairman of the Rugby Federation of Russia and the Board of Trustees of CSKA Rugby Club, gave an example of an online training project for the army club “Mom, Dad, I am a Rugby Family”. As part of the project, the famous Russian rap artist Vasily Vakulenko (Basta) in his Instagram account conducted a 50-minute training session developed by physical training coaches of CSKA.

Recall that earlier a member of the Federation Council Eduard Isakov proposed adapting for an online program of physical activity for older Russians who are on self-isolation. The head of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, instructed to give relevant orders to the relevant departments.

It should be noted that experts recommended compensating for the lack of physical activity during the period of the self-isolation regimen by exercise or by individual physical exercises. The chief freelance cardiologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia Sergey Boytsov advised Russians to walk around the apartment more often and perform physical exercises.
