This was reported by RIA Novosti by the representative of the Moscow headquarters of the TFR, Julia Ivanova.
"The man born in 1995, who opened fire on traffic police officers on Leninsky Prospekt, died," said Ivanova.
On June 15, in the south-west of Moscow, near the Salyut Hotel on Leninsky Prospekt, traffic police stopped a taxi for a poorly readable number. While they were issuing a fine to a taxi driver in the passenger compartment, a passerby walked up to the car, opened the front door to the right of the driver and started firing a pistol.
The police returned fire, the attacker was wounded and detained. It turned out to be 25-year-old native of Ingushetia Ratmir Galaev. He fired from a converted gas pistol for military weapons. One of the policemen was seriously injured. Also, earlier the media reported the death of the attacker himself, but so far these messages have not been confirmed.
The motives of the criminal are still unknown. It was noted that according to the results of the examination, the presence of narcotic substances was found in his blood.
