Police officers from Yekaterinburg, who are accused of raping a 22-year-old resident from Kazakhstan in their official car, were released from the house arrest. This decision was made by the Leninsky district court of the city.

The defendants in the case are former police officers Vadim Mustafin, Andrei Bessarabov and Vyacheslav Tropin. According to the lawyer of the victim, Alexei Bushmakov, at the next meeting, instead of home arrest, the police were forbidden to communicate with each other, as well as to contact witnesses in the case and with the victim. According to him, psychological pressure is now exerted on the girl who suffered from violence.

“When they were under house arrest, she was calmer. Now she is afraid, knowing that her rapists calmly walk along the street”, - writes with reference to the words of the lawyer. According to him, now the girl is threatened to expel her from the country, since she does not have a permanent registration. In addition, the defense is trying to refute the allegations of rape, citing the precedent by agreement of the parties. According to the defense, the victim provided intimate services.

Police officers were detained last August. Now they are accused of gang rape under article 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and other crimes of a sexual nature under article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The maximum penalty for both articles is up to 10 years in prison. Police officers and their leader were fired from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Earlier Novye Izvestia wrote about a high-profile rape case in Germany. Investigating the criminal case of pedophilia, the police revealed the network of criminals from more than 30 thousand users who discussed their violent crimes against children, urged each other to such sexual acts.
