From July 15, the compulsory 14-day isolation for the people arrived from the other countries will be lifted in Russia. Foreigners will only need to submit a document in Russian or English, which would confirm the absence of coronavirus infection.

The test should be taken no earlier than three days before arrival in the Russian Federation.

The corresponding decision was made by the head of Rospotrebnadzor (the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) Anna Popova.

If a foreigner entering a country does not have a test, he will have three days to pass it on the spot. Russians can show the results of a coronavirus test or donate it at home.

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that from the same day, July 15, negotiations will begin on the resumption of air communication with a number of countries. At the first stage, it can be Great Britain, Norway, countries of the European Union (EU) - Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, as well as four Asian countries - Vietnam, China, Mongolia and Sri Lanka.

She noted that over a “fairly long time” the country has seen a decrease in the contracting and incidence of new coronavirus infection.

To the date, 734 thousand diagnoses of “covid” have been confirmed in Russia. 11,439 people died. 504 thousand patients recovered.
