Russian universities will be able to return to the traditional full-time education by agreement with the territorial bodies of Rospotrebnadzor. Institutions should be prepared to return to telecommuting in case the epidemiological situation deteriorates again.

The corresponding order came from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

It is reported that the return to full-time training must be accompanied by preventive measures recommended for compliance with Rospotrebnadzor. The list of these measures includes the creation of conditions for hygienic treatment of hands with antiseptics, non-contact temperature control for everyone who enters the university building, observance of the mask regime and social distancing, limiting visits to universities by those who have symptoms of infectious diseases, treatment of all contact surfaces and ventilation of premises.

It's worth reminding that students studying at Russian universities were transferred to distance learning from November 11 to February 6. At the same time, exceptions have been made for a number of specialties where only distance learning is impossible.

Earlier, similar measures were taken by the Moscow authorities until January 15, but their powers extended only to the Moscow universities subordinate to them.
