On the YouTube channel of investment consultant Dmitry Tolstyakov, she talked about whether she considers herself a rich person, how she sets financial goals, whether she lends money, how to build financial relationships in the family and much more.
“Wealth is never enough. A person is always dissatisfied and wants more, no matter how much he has.
I consider myself a rich man. I have reached some sums that I dreamed of as a child.
"There will be 10 million dollars and I won't be able to work at all!" There are ten million, but I work even more, because money is now a tool for me to build my business, my company.
And this is an opportunity to do and create more and more every year.
...Honestly, this happens intuitively (we are talking about defining financial goals - noted by the editor) , because money has never been an end in itself for me.
It's a strange thing, because, on the one hand, it has always been important for me to live well, to be of high quality; I have always strived to earn a lot.
I have always had great respect for money and understood that this is an important energy that I really need in my life.
But at the same time, they have never been an end in themselves, that is, I have never chosen a business or what I will do, based on where to earn more. And it seems to me that this is very correct.
You have to do what you love, and then it will bring you success and, in the end, money.
As soon as you start thinking: you need to choose a profession or a business where you can earn more... But if you, forgive me, are not in this business, you won’t make a shit there!
I was offered a lot of this. “Let's buy a plastic bag factory!”... The margin is such and such, the profit is such ... Listen, well, I don't understand anything about this and I definitely don't want to be a seller of plastic bags and you won't tempt me with millions.
I never lend money. I think it will always ruin the relationship.
I had such situations. And I honestly say that I don't even want to think about whether a person will return or not.
I can give money to a person, but lending is an absolutely pointless task.
It's only if you want a person to leave you behind... I had such a case. There was a man, and it was absolutely impossible, and at some point he asked for a loan and I happily gave it, because I understood that he would disappear from my life. And he disappeared. The amount was small. He disappeared and I never heard of him again, and thank God.
In general, I think this is bad practice. And most importantly, I do not understand its meaning.
If you are really going to repay this debt, then take the money secured. Even my friend's. If you are sure you will return.
There is an apartment, there is some kind of real estate with which you can somehow provide this money. And just “lend me” is generally a strange formula. Then I must say: give me money. This is fair. I can give, I can’t lend".
