The Ministry of Health has registered the drug "COVID-globulin" on an ongoing basis

- The development of the Natsimbio holding of the state corporation Rostec in the course of clinical trials has confirmed the effectiveness, safety and ability to neutralize the coronavirus. According to the research results, the drug "COVID-globulin" received a permanent registration certificate from the Ministry of Health of Russia, - reported in Rostec.

During clinical trials, it was found that in 70% of cases, the drug prevented the occurrence of complications of the disease in the form of a cytokine storm, renal failure, thromboembolic complications, the development of acute respiratory distress syndrome and an increase in the degree of lung damage. In addition, it generally reduced the risk of progression to a more severe disease in seven out of ten patients.

The drug has shown the highest efficiency when used in the early stages of COVID-19 disease.

At the same time, noted the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko, the emergence of new drugs for covid cannot be a reason for citizens to refuse vaccination.

Note that the list of vaccines against COVID-19, which are recommended for use, included a drug for children 12-17 years old "Sputnik M". In addition to vaccines, the recommended list includes Sputnik V vaccines, its one-component version Sputnik Light, as well as EpiVacCorona, EpiVacCorona-N and KoviVak.
