Mark Adams, communications director for the International Olympic Committee, said the organization is ready to provide Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva, who is suspected of doping, with psychological assistance.

At the same time, Adams believes that other Russian athletes should provide assistance to Valiyeva in the first place.

"We also have several measures to support athletes, there are relevant employees. There is a possibility of support, but, as I said, first of all it should come from the athlete's team", - TASS quotes the words of the IOC representative.

It's worth reminding that the International Testing Agency (ITA) reported that in the analyzes of Kamila Valiyeva, taken on December 25, traces of the banned trimetazidine were found. The case of the figure skater is going to be considered before February 15, since the start of the competition in single skating is scheduled for that day. Adams indicated that the committee's position on this issue would be very tough.
