CoronavirusRussia has registered a new set of reagents for the detection of antibodies to COVID-19, including infected people who are asymptomatic. The test was developed at the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Pasteur.
Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights) pointed out that obtaining data on the concentration of antibodies in citizens is important for understanding the degree of protection against re-disease. The effectiveness of the new system has been confirmed by clinical and laboratory tests. The reagent kit is currently approved for circulation in the country.
