In Moscow and the Moscow region, the Counter-terrorist operation mode was canceled

«Due to the absence of threats to life, health, property and other legally protected interests of people, the head of the counter—terrorism operation, the head of the FSB of Russia for the city of Moscow and the Moscow region decided to cancel the legal counter-terrorism operation mode on the territory of Moscow and the Moscow region from 09:00 on June 26, 2023», — the NAC reported (quote from RIA Novosti).

Counter-terrorism operation mode was introduced on Saturday in Moscow, Moscow and Voronezh region after the beginning of the armed mutiny of the PMCs «Wagner». Security measures have been strengthened in these and other regions, mass events have been canceled.

After the abolition of the Counter-terrorism operation mode, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced the lifting of restrictions.

«We are removing all restrictions related to the introduction of a counter—terrorist operation regime», — Sobyanin said on his Telegram channel.

The mayor of the capital added that the postponed graduation for schoolchildren will take place on July 1, and also thanked Muscovites for their understanding.
