The death of the 76-year-old program director of the Moscow International Film Festival, President of the Guild of Historians of Cinema and Film Critics of Russia Kirill Razlogov was sudden - he died of heart failure after returning from a business trip.

As the daughter told "Interfax" of the deceased, Anastasia Razolgova, he passed away the night before.

“He returned from one business trip, was planning to go to another, all happened very suddenly”, - she said.

By now the time and place of farewell to Kirill Razlogov remain unknown.

It's worth reminding that Razlogov, an honored art worker of the Russian Federation, was also a leading researcher at the Research Institute of Cinematography and a professor at VGIK. A series of books and articles on the history of cinema has been published under his authorship.
