In the Moscow region, a killer shot with a crossbow the famous Russian businessman Vladimir Marugov, who owns the company Myasnaya Imperis (Meat Empire), which produces sausages.

According to Baza, the murder took place on November 1. The hijackers tied them both up and then fired an arrow into Marugov's chest.

“At that moment, the girl was able to break free and run away. She was the one who called the police.

The killers, however, have not yet been detained. The motive for the attack is also unknown”, - notes vesma.today.

Marugov's body was found in a bathhouse on the territory of his country house. According to media reports, after the murder, the hijackers managed to hide in a car, the license plates of which were covered with a plastic bag. The police organized a pursuit, but the killers abandoned the car and fled into the forest.

A criminal case has been initiated into the murder of a businessman.

In recent years in Russia there has been an increase in the number of attacks on well-known businessmen typical of the era of the "rampant crime of the 1990s".

A few days earlier, businessman and philanthropist Alexander Petrov, the father of Russian racer Vitaly Petrov, was killed in the Leningrad region.
