Krasnoyarsk investigators sent to the court a criminal case on the preparation of a terrorist attack in school against a student with a decision on his compulsory treatment due to his mental illness.

- Within the framework of a criminal investigation was conducted teenager psychological and psychiatric examination, the results of which he revealed a mental illness, in connection with which a teenager in need of treatment with placement in a specialized type of hospital, - reports Interfax, referring to the regional Investigative Committee.

Recall that we are talking about a 14-year-old teenager who was preparing an armed attack on the school. A shotgun of a hunting rifle, cartridges, four improvised explosive devices, communications equipment and diaries were seized from him, in which an attacker described his plan of action for a planned terrorist attack.

The institution was hindered by the transition to remote work due to restrictive measures against coronavirus.

In a video circulated by the FSB, the detainee admitted that he needed a weapon to "shoot the school".
